PARKS & RECREATION
My family has always been active in our town's recreational programs. I’ve been a coach for many years. Outdoor activities are important to our families and to those who work in Morrisville. I continue to be a champion for connecting our greenway and sidewalk networks. My goal is for every family to be able to walk or ride their bikes safely from anywhere to anywhere in Morrisville. We have plans in place, and I will continue to invest to make those connections sooner rather than later.
Our Parks and Recreation amenities recently experienced a substantial upgrade with the renovation of the Morrisville Aquatics and Fitness Center. I am proud that I took part in the Chamber of Commerce effort to pass the bond referendum for this project even before I was on the Town Council. The result is a brand-new, open-air pool, new lighted tennis courts and state-of-the-art fitness equipment. I continue to advocate on your behalf to make the most of our tax dollars and collaborative relationships to enhance our quality of life.
